Camera Shots (Framing) & Angles
Wide Angle
Shot taken from a distance in order to frame more than two subjects at the same time. The wide angle shot is also used to show suspicious or important, this would be shown through deep or shallow focus. In horror films the wide angle shot is used to show vulnerability as the audience would see how big the place is and look for opening where something can happened. |

How shots and angles are used in media
Documentary
|
TV Drama
YouTube Vlog
|
This kind of media uses a single camera because when these videos are shot they are done by like two friends one presenting the video and the other filming with one camera on a tri-pod.

soap (UK) and sitcom (US)

Music Video
Music videos are mostly made with a multi camera set up because a lot of big musicians like to make their videos look incredibly detailed with the cinematography, like making the video have special cuts and or real acting scenes.
Music videos can also be shot with a single camera, this is usually seen done by artists who don't have the budget for a multi camera crew. |
